PERSONAL SERVICES

We are highly qualified to offer transportation services that are truly inclusive for everyone. This includes same-day, on-demand transportation for people with disabilities and special needs. All our flat fees include ride-along caregivers and aids at no additional cost. Whether its ease of boarding for a customer in a wheelchair, assisting a visually impaired customer, or making sure that a customer with special needs feels comfortable, safe and welcome while getting transportation to their destination.

CHARTER SERVICES

Organizers of large group travel can cast their worries aside when they book one of our accessible charter buses. Ideal for long distance travel with larger groups, accessible charter buses are a model of convenience, safety and cost efficiency.

CORPORATE SERVICES

At Wheelchair Accessible Transit we work with a variety of different agencies and corporations offering cost effect solutions for any accessible transportation needs they may have. Some of our corporate services include: Transporting patients to and from healthcare facilities, transportation for seniors in retirement homes, long term care facilities, airport transfer services, to and from work or just out into town. We are proud to offer accessible transportation solutions throughout Southern Ontario.

Wheelchair Transportation

For those of us requiring special accommodations, traveling throughout the City of Toronto and Ontario can be a challenging experience. At Wheelchair Accessible Transit, our goal is to take the stress out of your transportation needs. We will make your travel experience easy to book and comfortable to travel with.

We are proud to offer citywide local and provincial transportation at a flat rate. Our vehicles are comfortable and spacious, accommodating anywhere from one to six wheelchairs. Our vehicles also accommodate any family, friends, or escorts who should accompany the customer or would like to accompany the passengers.

Our transportation service is door-to-door and customers can book times and locations in advance or same day. Customers can book by calling our reservations line, book online and through our upcoming mobile app.

Our friendly and caring drivers are trained extensively and certified in assisting people with disabilities and special needs. Our extensive fleet of wheelchair accessible vehicles, school buses, and minivans let our passengers travel in style and comfort. We’re committed to excellent service. Locally owned and operated, our staff, including the President, are always available to assist you. You’ll get quick answers, access to expert industry advice, and caring, responsive service.

Airport Transfers

When booking orders from Pearson International Airport, we require the following information from you:

After submitting the request, you will be contacted by one of our customer service professionals to confirm all the details and book your order. The cost of the service will depend on your requested destination. In addition to the rate for the trip, there will be a fee that is collected by the compound on behalf of the Federal Government. This fee is only applicable when picking up from the airport. Drop off to the airport has NO compound fee.

Arriving at Pearson

When arriving at the airport, please follow the instructions as to where to wait.
Depending on which terminal you arrive, there is a different waiting area:

Terminal 1

On the arrivals level, near the Taxi/ Limo stand. Walk across the platform and find the sign that reads “Ground Transportation” (or a D1 sign) and advise them that you are waiting for “Wheelchair Accessible Transit”.

Terminal 3

In the middle of the terminal on the loading platform, there is a large overhead sign that reads “Pre-Arranged Limousines”, just inside the door is a small desk where a Commissioner sits (post #23). Inform the Commissioner that you have a prearranged vehicle in the compound waiting for you from “Wheelchair Accessible Transit”. The Commissioner will then call out the vehicle to your exact spot.
